By the looks of it, Gina Rodriguez had a pretty great birthday this year. The Jane the Virgin star celebrated her 34th birthday on July 30 in Tulum with several friends and her boyfriend of almost two years, Joe LoCicero. Oh, and she may have also gotten engaged.
On the morning of her birthday, Gina shared a shot of herself seated by the beach wearing a massive diamond ring on her left hand. In her caption, Gina quoted Frida Kahlo and wrote, "They thought I was a Surrealist, but I wasn't. I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality." On Instagram Stories, she shared similar pictures from the same spot, as well as one with Joe that feels very newly engaged-esque.
However, fans shouldn't start celebrating just yet. At the Oscars earlier this year, Gina once again sparked engagement rumors by wearing a diamond band on her ring finger while walking the red carpet with Joe. What's more, neither Gina nor Joe have officially confirmed the news apart from sharing the sweet vacation shots. If this does turn out to be true though, then she had a damn good birthday indeed.
