Starbucks's Fall Drink Menu Includes a New Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte

The wait is finally over. Starbucks has officially entered the fall chat with its latest menu coming Aug. 24. The beloved seasonal drop will include fan favorites like the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte (which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year), along with two brand-new drinks that might just steal the autumnal limelight. Introducing the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte for your spooky-season consideration.

The Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso follows in the familiar footsteps of the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato — its equally delicious predecessor. With blonde espresso and notes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar, this new beverage is a timely reimagination of the viral Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. "The warm, gooey taste of apple crisp paired with a cup of coffee meld perfectly to unveil a cozy beverage," Starbucks beverage developer Billy Altieri said in a press release. Thankfully, both apple crisp drinks will make an appearance on the menu this year, so you can experience the cozy flavors of fall hot, iced, or topped with oat milk.

Inspired by popular customer and barista customizations, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte tops Starbucks's classic chai with the sweetness of the highly anticipated pumpkin cream cold foam. "The warm spice flavors of chai and pumpkin seamlessly blend together, creating a creamy and comforting iced beverage," Altieri said. It's the physical proof that sometimes the best ideas come from Starbucks customers themselves.

If you're not too busy trying out all the new fall flavors, you can also expect to find some tried-and-true hits, including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and Owl Cake Pop. Keeping with the theme, Starbucks is also releasing a new Baked Apple Croissant, complete with a warm apple filling and sugary topping. Get your first look at the new fall menu below, and prepare to ring in the season with your favorite drink by your side.
