We haven't been able to get these lyrics out of our heads since last year, and chances are you haven't either if you've ever had the privilege of listening to English singer-songwriter Ella Mai, whose incredibly catchy track "Boo'd Up" recently peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. Let us be the first to tell you that if "Boo'd Up" is the only song of hers you're listening to these days . . . you're missing out on something great.
Mai has been delivering hits since her first of three EPs. In February 2016, she released her first, Time, and followed it up just nine months later with Change, and finally Ready, out in February 2017. Needless to say, the 23-year-old has been putting in work to get where she is today, and our playlists full of her songs are proof.
