Even Jenna Dewan's Daughter Is Going Through a "Destructive Phase" Because, Well, Toddlers

Despite her recent separation from Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan has made taking care of her 4-year-old daughter the top priority. And although she loves being a hands-on mother, she admits that Everly has had her fair share of quintessential toddler moments.

"Everly is the love of my life, I love being her mom. She is so energetic and creative," Jenna told Us Weekly on May 18. "She's going through a destructive phase because she loves taking things apart and putting something else together, creating. She wants to explore and transform everything around her."

And according to the 37-year-old dancer, Everly has a bit of a creative bug — she loves everything and anything that involves art.

"She's very creative and crafty. She's always making something for me," explained Jenna. "I have a slew of things hanging in my trailer: pictures or necklaces. She likes to take anything and make something from it. Lots of repurposed artwork happening at home."

As for flying with a 4-year-old? Apparently, Jenna has gotten the hang of it after clocking in hours and hours of practice.

"That child has been on a plane since she was 6 weeks old with me and she's given me the whole gamut when it comes to trips, from great to ugh," she said. "I am a well-oiled mama machine when it comes to traveling with a toddler. Now they have these coloring books that are scratchable so you don't have to keep track of a bunch of crayons. We're really into those."
