Sushirritos, cronuts, brookies. Over the last few years, we've been pretty blessed to have been introduced to some out-of-this-world food hybrids, and it looks like a new creation from Godiva is about to be the next quirky combination to take over your Instagram feed: the Croiffle. The famed Belgian chocolatier is opening up its first cafe in North America later this month, and with its grand opening it'll introduce the world to its exclusive Croiffle, which is essentially a buttery croissant pressed into the shape of a waffle.
The new hybrid, which is basically 2019's version of a cronut, will be sold with a variety of fillings: Three Cheese (Havarti, Swiss, and Gruyere), Ham and Swiss, Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and Bacon, Egg, and Gouda, or Sausage, Egg, and Gouda. The prices for each Croiffle will vary based on filling, but they'll all cost less than $6 each. The special pastry will be sold at the Godiva Cafe, which officially opens for business on April 18 in New York City.
