Atlanta-based farmer Jamila Norman has farmed for over a decade, and in her Magnolia Network series Homegrown, Jamila shares her expertise by turning families' backyards into flourishing urban farms. In the trailer for season two, Jamila mentions "I just want to set people up for success and leave them in a place where I know that it [their garden] will be beautiful, and it will grow all the things they ever wanted," and indeed her hard work pays off.
In the upcoming season of Homegrown, Jamila continues her journey of backyard transformations and even checks in on ones she's done in the past. "We're going back and visiting the families two months later to actually check in on the harvest," she shared in a phone interview with POPSUGAR. While the trailer doesn't give us any official glimpses of her latest and greatest work, we do see a sneak peek of lots of vegetables!
Every day we learn something new, and with Homegrown, every episode. Check out the season two trailer, and prepare for its premiere on Oct. 29 on the Magnolia Network, available on Discovery+.
