At this very moment, at least 3.2 million cats in the US are in need of a forever home. And while I can't bring home any more furbabies without risking eviction, I'm praying that someone can swoop in and scoop up Barsik, a very handsome 41-pound male who's currently living with his foster mom. Although Barsik's weight certainly makes him stand out on social media, the 5-year-old kitty is embarking on a weight loss journey so he can set himself up for success with his new family.
