Princess Diana may not have been able to witness Prince Harry tie the knot with Meghan Markle on Saturday, but something tells us she was there in spirit. Not only did Harry and Meghan follow in her footsteps by making a slight tweak to their wedding vows, but there were reports that Harry also honored his late mom by leaving an empty seat open next to Prince William during the ceremony at St. George's Chapel.

Unfortunately it turns out that wasn't true. According to People, the empty seat was left open for Queen Elizabeth so that she could have "a clear view of the proceedings from the second row." Harry did, however, invite Diana's siblings to the ceremony as another sweet tribute to his mother.

Diana's sister Lady Jane Fellowes also gave a special reading from the Song of Solomon during the ceremony. In a previous statement from Kensington Palace, Harry and Meghan said they felt honored that Lady Jane would be "representing her family and helping to celebrate the memory of the late Princess on the wedding day." Aw!
