Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had their first baby, James, over three years ago, and their second baby, Ines, back in September 2016 — and the two have been tackling parenthood like champs ever since. Ryan appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers back in February 2016, before Ines's birth, and dished about what it was like in the labor room while James was being born. Naturally, the joker decided to play some tunes during a contraction, and what better song to irk a mom in labor than Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On"?
"It was like steak knives came out of her eyes. She was like, 'Are you f*cking sh*tting me right now?'" Ryan told Seth. But then continued to say that Blake was cracking jokes herself the whole way.
When asked about postbirth advice to give to other parents, Ryan gave an answer that will make you love him even more. "Just do the dirty work, man. You gotta do the diapers, you gotta do the middle-of-the-night thing. A human being will exit your wife, so she's done enough." Take note, future dads!
